Description
The Eye-BERT Gen3 is a low cost easy to use compact bit error rate tester offering high performance testing from 1.25Gbps to 29Gbps. Optical, electrical, and mixed mode BER testing is possible using the SFP and SMA connections. A low jitter programmable reference clock is also provided for synchronization to external equipment. In addition to BER testing, the Gen3 displays real-time eye opening measurements and can produce an eye-scan for any signal above 5Gbps.
Power can be supplied from either a laptop, wall adapter, or USB power bank for portable operation. Its compact rugged enclosure, anti-skid bumpers, and a screen protector make it perfect for field use.s
